Crowdfunding is one of the most popular ways of raising capital and it’s most effective when you have a detailed film to lead the marketing campaign. This project was all about that, telling the brand story and convincing potential investors that Hagley West was where they should put their hard earned money.
This project demanded strategy, finesse and a very fast turn around. We had only a few of days to film all that we needed and had to tie it all together into an edit in record time to get the crowdfunding campaign started. Jamaica was the location, the city of Kingston at the house of the infamous West Indian cricket player Chris Gayle (part owner of Hagley West).
This film and the crowdfunding campaign we helped plan led Hagley West to raise a whopping £353,540, in what was the fastest successful crowdfund of any quartz watch company in history, taking just 8 hours. What a journey to be a part of, we are absolutely thrilled with the result and plans are in the works for where we will take the Hagley West brand in 2020.
